Whether you are looking to redecorate internal rooms in your home by changing the colour scheme or refreshing an existing one we will be pleased to offer a home visit and provide a competitive quotation. During the visit we will be able to help you with your colour choice and the type of paint, satin or silk, matt, gloss or high gloss for doors. We can discuss any surface preparation needed including filling or patching any problem areas, replastering or skimming of poor surfaces as well as any remedial woodworking such as skirting boards, architraving or coving.

In the example below, as part of a refresh carried out throughout the property, we were able to redecorate the existing rooms (first two photos) using modern paint finshes and colours to transform old 'tired' rooms into a bright and stylish appearance ahead of new carpets being laid.

   

   

We fully protect existing surfaces and furnishings where necessary before carrying out any priming or undercoating and then creating whatever finish that's decided, ordinarily using two coats of paint.

Quality Paints to match your needs...

We have found that the majority of decorating projects we carry out require the ceiling and walls to be painted and also the skirting boards, with door frames and doors on larger projects. We generally use emulsion paint for the ceiling and wall but for kitchens and bathrooms the paint has to be stain proof due to moisture. For wood work we use either oil based satin or oil based gloss, sometimes even eggshell, depending on our discussions on your preferences.



We only recommend using recognised brands of paint for all our work, including Dulux, Crown or Santex due to the quality finish and would advise clients against buying cheap budget paint. We can also use 'designer' brands of paint such as Laura Ashely, Farrow and Ball and Valsper depending on the specific project and budget.

External repairs and decoration...

The outside of your home is more exposed to harsh conditions and requires regular maintenance. For external decorating we remove old or flaky paint and can repair cracks, masonry or wood using specialist exterior filler for all types of exterior surfaces. We use a long lasting paint or stain appropriate to the surface to ensure a perfect finish ensuring the improved appearance of your property lasts longer.
